Creatives Culture Labs

The Creatives Culture Labs are an ongoing series of professional development workshops for artists and creatives, designed to support the refining of skills and talents and advancing careers within the cultural industries. Participants have the opportunity to engage in practical sessions covering a variety of topics such as visual art preparation, podcast creation, creative portfolio building, event hosting, and more. Additionally, information sessions provide valuable insights on securing funding, budgeting for large-scale events, and utilizing graphic design software. Hands-on activities further enable participants to overcome writer’s block, master on camera acting, and understand sound mixing essentials.

The Creatives Culture Lab series not only equips Bermudian creatives with practical tools to enhance their artistry but also fosters a collaborative environment for peer connection and professional growth. These workshops are free and open to all skill levels, simply requiring registration on creatives.bm in lieu of a fee. Join us in nurturing your creative journey, learning new skills, and exploring opportunities to grow and possibly monetize your passion for the arts. The Department of Culture is committed to supporting our creative community!

All Creatives Culture Labs take place at the MakerSpace Facility located at Cedarbridge Academy!
